CRE Loaded PCI CE v6.4

Welcome to CRE Loaded 6.4. This software has been engineered to meet all technical security requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. (PCI – PA –DSS ). All merchants who process credit cards in their store must comply with the PCI Standards. To make this easy for merchants, CRE has created the RapidPCI ™ process. Provided you follow all requirements of the RapidPC ™ process during this installation you will become PCI Compliant with a minimum of cost and effort. There are three options for installation:

If you are setting up NEW STORE with CRE Loaded 6.4, click on the box labeled RapidPCI ™ New Store. If you want your customers to pay for your goods with credit cards, make sure you follow all RapidPCI ™ instructions to ensure your new store will be fully PCI Compliant.

To UPGRADE to CRE Loaded 6.4 from an earlier version of CRE Loaded click on: RapidPCI ™ Upgrade.

If you currently process credit cards in your store and intend to continue, you must become PCI Compliant. To do this quickly and easily, make sure you follow all requirements of the RapidPCI ™ process during installation. If you are storing any credit card data in your existing store you must purge or mask that data during installation in order to become PCI compliant. Instructions for doing this are provided during installation. Any credit card data persisting after installation will be unusable except for reference purposes. If you do not do this you will not be able to become PCI compliant through the RapidPCI ™ process and you will have to find another solution to PCI Compliance.

If you want to UPGRADE but do not want to purge or mask credit card data at this time and use our RapidPCI ™ path to compliance, choose: Non-PCI Upgrade. We would advise you however that if you wish to process credit cards you must still address the issue of PCI Compliance as required by the credit-card companies and your Merchant financial institution. Please refer to the Implementation Guide for information on becoming PCI Compliant at a later stage through the RapidPCI ™ process.
